  • What disciplines are taught at Shahid Beheshti University?

  • Does it take a lot to do official procedures of application and enrollment?

    No, in case all documents are provided, at least one month and a maximum of two months is required

  • Is the degree of Shahid Beheshti University internationally accredited?

  • Do international students have specific educational and disciplinary rules?

    No, they are subject to the general regulations of the university.

  • What is the social attitude of the university with international students?

    Good. Shahid Beheshti University always welcome international students.

  • Are there recreational and sports spaces available at the university and international students can use it?

    Yes, access to all leisure and sports facilities is possible for international students same as Iranian students.

  • Is student loan granted to International students?

    No. Scholarship students receive scholarships from the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology of Iran. The cost of accommodation is also calculated and paid by the Ministry on a monthly basis.

  • How is quality of dormitories and their facilities?

    Shahid Beheshti University dormitories are equipped with all the necessary equipment, including refrigerator, carpet, TV, washing machine and Internet connection. Students will be accommodated in a triple room.

  • Does SBU provide married accommodation for international students?

    Yes, married accommodation is given only to Ph.D. students. The university has no married accommodation for undergraduate and master students.

  • Can international students have guests in their dormitories?

    Yes, but according to the general regulations of the students’ dormitory, only for 2 nights can be booked with the cost accounting. More than 2 nights will be possible with letters and confirmation from dormitory’s management.
